Groups Ministry

At Windover Hills, we believe life is done best in groups.  That’s why we try to offer a series of small group settings where you can connect with others who are making their way along the journey of life following Jesus. We have a variety of small groups, off different styles, for different people, so there is something for everyone.

Sunday Morning Adult Groups          10:15am on Sundays

We have 1-2 adult groups who meet to talk about faith, their lives and the scriptures.  Some of the groups use DVD lessons and teachings by nationally known leaders and speakers, some study through books of the Bible, and others use printed devotional studies.  We would love to have you join one of our groups on Sunday mornings before or after worship and get to know others who are seeking to follow Jesus and live the life we were created to live.

Women’s Monday Small Group       6:30pm – 8pm Monday Evenings

This study is for adult women and has moved online for the time being.   The studies cover a wide variety of topics related to faith and everyday life.  The study is a DVD format from a nationally known speaker, with discussion and application led by a local group facilitator.  Please email the church at: [email protected] for information about how to join the online meeting.

Wisdom’s Call Small Group – 6:30pm-8pm on Tuesday Evenings

In Proverbs 8, scripture depicts wisdom as a woman standing at the city gates and calling out to those who will hear her. This study is about answering that call, and is for anyone who wants to ask big questions, and is not interested in small answers. Studies cover a variety of topics including how scripture speaks to current events, the nature of the sacraments, and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. We have moved online for the time being, please email the church at: [email protected] for information about how to join the online meeting.

Online Devotions – Wednesdays at noon Facebook Live

A short time of rest and reflection on God’s Word in the middle of the week. Devotions last about twenty minutes to half an hour and include a short update on what is happening at the church, a reflection on scripture, and a time of prayer, with folks invited to share their joys and concerns in the comments.
