Notes from the Pastor…..
Sunday morning is primarily a time for worship. While there are many other important things going on, we will be limiting the number and type of announcements that we make at the beginning of each worship service. As a general rule, if the announcement isn’t for at least half of the congregation, we can find better ways to share our announcement. If you have need to get information out to the church family, please let the office know what you need announced in the bulletin, the “Out of the Winds” or the weekly email blast.Thank you.
Also, a team of persons is working to update the “Look” of our hallways and classrooms. What visitors see the first time they are with us is important. Please see the office or pastor before posting any items on the bulletin boards or walls. Thank you!
Women’s FORUM will host a Pampered Chef fundraising event on March 14th in Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm.
Women’s Forum will receive 25% of total sales. Proceeds from the event will continue to aid FORUM in their missions work with organizations like The Washington Women’s Shelter, as well as in their work within the church supporting fellowship events. Contact Viv if you have any questions.
Windover Hills Church will hold our annual EASTER EGG HUNT on Saturday, March 17 at 1:00 pm.
Pam is coming to our March S.A.S.S. meeting. Welcome in spring with spring decorations. We will draw a name and winner will take home the decorations.

We will begin collecting Easter candy for our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt. Please drop off your candy donation in the office in the box labeled “Easter Candy Donations”.
2017 Contributions Statements are available for pickup in the narthex. Please contact the church office if you know of a family who needs to have the statement mailed to them.
Church Member Contact Update Forms are available in the narthex. If you have not already completed a form or the on-line form, please complete and place in the offering plate or drop off at the office. Thank you.

Rev. Jude & Emily Urso will be leading a marriage enrichment conference at Jumonville beginning Friday, February 9th to Sunday February 11th. They will be using the video series by Dr. Emerson & Sarah Eggerich entitled Love & Respect. Come and stay at either the Inn or Washington Lodge for this special tie on the mountain for husbands and wives to grow closer to one another and the Lord. Mark your calendars for February 4, “Souper-Bowl” Sunday. Women’s FORUM will once again be sponsoring this annual event. Lunch will be served in Fellowship Hall following the 11am worship service. A variety of soups, bread, and dessert will be offered. No reservations are necessary. Everyone is welcome !!!
